stories

i want to get better on writing stories but i don't have the patience to finish them so here are some short drafts.

i noticed that i have started to reject a bunch of ideas i have, as if they are bad to think about. i should try to give these bad ideas a chance

disoriented, as the darkest part of the day had reached, the moth searched for a safe place to rest.
high in a tree there was a glowing hole. a beacon. its next stop.
after wrestling with the barrier on the passage, the moth entered the tree.
at the other side, an extensive chamber accommodated diverse materials, mainly soil particles, sawdust and dead skin.
intrigued by the lack of shadows, as the room was completely enclosed by the cold stone barks, the moth looked around, trying to find the source of this light.
looking upwards and slightly to the left, it saw a white dot on the sky, softly flickering.
a friendly fly lands nearby
are you praising the sun?
it's mesmerizing!
agreed.
i thought it was nighttime?
it never goes out.
does it ever leaves to eat?
it can't. it is what feeds the trees.
it looks lonely.
give it a hug!
yes.
tell me how it feels later.
the moth then flew towards the sun.
the incandescent, fluorescent body got bigger and bigger, until all of its radiant pale dress integrally covered the little insect's field of view.
it burns
the moth noticed intricate engravings on the sun. the patterns made an almost complete circumference around the surface of it.
upon arrival, it realized the sun was made of plastic. was fabricated in china. copyright to jiasui inc.
the moth could not resist the heat anymore and passed out. shortly after, it was properly disposed of.

31415926535 floors tall building

a new one?
it should replace the first floor
we don't need a new one
this one will be made of pure tantalum
the last one was made of steel. it's basically the same
but the ground floor will be replaced by the second one, and the 141st by the 142d, and the 173st by the 174nd, and 539 will be replaced by the 396, and so on... the entire building will be sturdier and emancipated from these iron-minded lies
the old ones are working just fine
think of the headlines!
think of the debris
we can clean it up
we never finished cleaning the first time. the density of each floor increases every new floor
that isn't really an issue. if we build the new room we can get more people to clean up later. besides, we have all the time in the world to clean it
i have never seen a clock go backwards
was I too rough?

medicine

the next sunday the sun will grow twice its common size. it is finally time to test our bunkers. and your faith too
do you know how your friends are going right now? maybe they can help us
there is no one to help us. how about you?
they would take my head as a trophy
not surprising
i'm aware
sorry
there might be people out there in need
i'm not yet allowed to practice outside of my job
it could be an emergency
i'm also not that knowledgable
was it your mentors? or something else that made you so passive?
silence
but really, i believe you could be useful for someone out there
i do not believe that
won't you even attempt?
i prefer spending time with you
